I've been traveling riverside just like a Rolling Stone I'm gonna roll all night if it doesn't leave me alone See I drove all night just trying to get home to you But when I walk through your door I find you swinging with another fool what am I gonna do? Guess I'll keep traveling riverside just like a Rolling Stone With this guitar at my side I know I'll never end up alone 'cause the lord won't leave me alone

Ive gone savage for people with automatic weapons and time to kill I've gone manic for love i've never seen or felt for real I'll be the spider in your sugar bowl any time you need I'll be the line you hook your sink on to 'cause I'd do that just for you I've gone savage for people with lives that they want to throw out the window I've gone manic for the days I miss and the nights I can't remember too well I'll be the spider in your sugar bowl any time you need If you've got a hunger for things you can't control I'm the one to call when you need to feed I've gone manic at least 100 times today I might panic but I'm not in the grave I'll be the spider in your sugar bowl any time you need I'll be the lie you sink yourself in any time you want to win any time you need a friend I'll be the spider in your sugar bowl

Thought I'd know what I was looking at by now Never thought this life would ever let me down While I'm drowning All I've seen so far has left me with more questions Never thought that sound could be as silent as the winter time Never thought that you around could be the beginning of the end but some how here we are now This love keeps spinning around I feel like breaking down This life keeps turning and I can't find the ground Upside down Never thought that I could be the owner of a soul so low Never thought that what you needed to find could take you so far from home This life keeps spinning around I feel like breaking down This life keeps spinning and I can't find the ground When I'm upside down

Scream 05:03
You know I'm starting to get older at least I'm feeling that way I thought I'd get a little colder I end up in a rage My mind runs on the ceiling my body crawls on the floor I never thought I'd see you again walking out that door you gotta scream a little louder baby to get what you want you gotta scream a little louder baby thats how my lovin' starts You know I'm starting to get younger at least I'm looking that way deep in my belly there's a hunger and it ain't going away My mind runs on the ceiling my body crawls on the floor You ain't never gonna see me again walking out that door you gotta scream a little louder baby to get what you want you gotta scream a little louder baby thats how my lovin' starts You know i'm starting to get wiser I'm looking up to the sky I look around and see the same faces Everybody getting high Our minds runs on the ceiling our bodies crawl on the floor You ain't never gonna see us again we're walking out that door you gotta scream a little louder baby to get what you want you gotta scream a little louder baby thats how my lovin' starts

Dry 02:30
Maybe it's for the best that we give this mess a rest its an arresting condition Habits form alarmingly fast I must address these problems at the core Maybe I feel it again... Like an underdog, when the fix is in It can't always be this way Same forecast on a different day gotta get up and find another way out of this rain Will you keep me dry 'till the morning? When I was young I had the influence of some but now its gone I guess that it changes like the waves during a sunset one day we all have to break Maybe I feel it again... Like an underdog, when the fix is in It can't always be this way Same forecast on a different day gotta get up and find another way out of this rain Will you keep me dry 'till the morning?

about

All in the name of creativity…

To say that we followed an album called Slacker Blues with a prolonged silence on purpose would be giving us far too much credit. The truth is we’ve worked diligently to craft a follow up. An album that would live up to the energy and urgency of our first while hopefully showcasing our growth as artists and people, and boy let me tell you! We’re close. Interestingly what you’re listening to now isn’t it…

Rained Out EP is a collection of songs we’ve put down in the last few years, spending countless hours writing and rehearsing new material. As always experimentation is required to reach the goal.
We had the addition (and subsequent subtraction) of a new band member, including aborted album sessions in 2013 (Scream). Whiskey soaked winters recording in my living room (The Spider in Your Sugar Bowl, Expectations 421).
Impromptu covers we’ll probably never reproduce (loving cup).
A simple blues written in 5 minutes after a 3 days in a car headed west (My Mississippi River Blues)
All capped off with a beautiful performance from Robbie recorded just a couple months back. (Dry)

The quality of these recordings is all over the place. I love it. It’s a blend of experiences captured commercial free and in the moment. We offer these tracks to you FREE of charge as a way to say thank you for your patience and as an offer of good faith that the next album will be worth the wait.

Save this one for a rainy day, maybe the next time you’re plans get canceled or you’re down with a cold. Life is an inexhaustible well of experiences to draw from these are just some of ours.

with love
danny
